Real stories. Real people.
One relationship that changes everything.
Relational Hearts Project (RHP) is a series of honest, unscripted conversations with ordinary people about their relationship with God — the high points and the hard ones, the doubts and the discoveries, the moments that changed everything and the long stretches where nothing seemed to move at all. No agenda, no easy answers. Just real people, telling the truth about their lives.
A world where every person, wherever they are on their journey, knows they are known and loved by Jesus Christ. Read more...
The Relational Hearts Project (RHP) exists to accompany people on the margins of faith by giving voice to the stories that are rarely heard — honest, personal accounts of struggle, searching, and encounter with Christ. We believe that authentic human witness has the power to reach where formal teaching cannot, and that hearing another person's story can open a door in someone else's heart. Through conversations shared openly and without judgement, we seek to create a space where anyone — regardless of where they are in their faith journey — feels seen, welcomed, and gently drawn towards a deeper relationship with God.
At the heart of this project is a conviction that the most transformative relationship available to any human person is a living, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Not a set of beliefs about him, nor a dutiful observance of religious practice, but an encounter with a person — one who knows us fully, loves us unconditionally, and walks with us through every season of life. This relationship is not reserved for the devout or the certain; it is offered to the doubting, the wounded, the lapsed, and the still-searching. It is precisely in the telling of those imperfect, interrupted, and often surprising stories of encounter that others may recognise something of their own longing — and find the courage to respond to it.
To share authentic stories of faith through conversations that reach, accompany, and gently inspire anyone who is searching. Read more...
The mission of the Relational Hearts Project is to create and share short, authentic video conversations that bring the personal faith stories of ordinary people to anyone who is searching, doubting, or finding their way back to God. We do this through YouTube and our website, reaching people where they already are rather than asking them to come to us.
We achieve this by:
Listening well — creating a safe, unhurried space where participants feel free to speak honestly about their experience of faith, without editorial pressure or predetermined conclusions.
Telling real stories — filming unscripted conversations that reflect the full complexity of a human life and a living relationship with Christ, including its difficulties and its silences as much as its moments of grace.
Reaching the margins — distributing our content through digital platforms to connect with people who may never walk through a church door but who are nonetheless quietly open to something deeper.
Building a community — inviting viewers, participants, and team members into an ongoing relationship with the project, so that Relational Hearts grows as a living, breathing community of people on the journey together.
Keeping the door open — ensuring that everything we produce is welcoming, non-threatening, and accessible to someone encountering this kind of conversation for the very first time.
This is what RHP is all about. Press play and spend a few minutes with someone who has agreed to sit down and speak honestly about their faith — where it has taken them, where it has faltered, and where they find themselves today. Every conversation is different, every story is unique, but in each one you may find something that quietly speaks to your own.
Every conversation in the Relational Hearts library is different — different voices, different journeys, different moments of doubt and discovery. Browse through and find the stories that speak to you. You may want to start at the beginning, or you may find yourself drawn to a particular face or title. There is no right way to explore. Take your time.
We record new conversations on a regular basis and we are always looking for the next person whose story deserves to be heard. Here you can see what is coming up — when we are filming, when new videos are due to be published, and how to register your interest if you would like to take part in a future session. Nothing is rushed, and there is no pressure — just an open invitation to be part of the conversation.
